Notion, Check the reaction with Like!
Have you ever wondered content preference of people who visit your page? Comments are inconvenient and there is no easy interaction like likes in Notion. So what should we do?
Fortunately, there is a way to attach like on notion pages.
Attach a Like button with Joey
1. Start Joey
The process of getting started with Joey can be found in “Notion, let’s get comments without login!”. Assuming you are logged in, let’s move on to the next.
2. Create Like block
After logging in, you will see a gray Add Block button on the Dashboard page. Please click the button. Now we need to choose which block we want to create. We press the heart-shaped “Like Block”.
Now you can see the setting window (left) and preview (right) of the Like block.
- Block title is the name of the block. In order to find it on the dashboard later, you have to write the name properly, right?
- Embedded URL is for recording which page you enter. If you write down where you put it, it will be easier to go to that page, right?
- Theme can set the theme of the block to Light (light), Dark (dark) theme, or Auto (according to the system settings).
- Note can be used for memo purposes.
In fact, just write the block title and click Create block.
3. Embed Like block
Click Create block and wait for a while to create a Block URL. Click the copy button to the right of the Block URL to copy the link. Now embed the block at the desired location on the Notion page. If you adjust the size slightly, you can install likes like the one below. Don’t worry about the setting button on the right as only the block owner can see it.
Usage example
You can also show popular content by setting the like block. In Notion to website, the site that makes Notion a website is linked with likes to show the best view sorted by likes at the top. Follow Joey’s Notion Integration and you’ll be able to make it in no time.
